The name Fort Cambridge comes from the old fortifications of the Cambridge battery, built by the British in the second half of the 19th Century. Nowadays Fort Cambridge is a contemporary residential seafront complex, perched on Sliema’s Tigne peninsula and is classified as a Special Designated Area.
The complex was designed to be completely residential, maximising the stunning seascapes, and amenities include an underground car park, private swimming pool, fitness centre, an indoor pool, landscaped gardens and 24-hour security. It is also a short stroll to the promenade, with its up-market beach clubs, and Tigne Point, which is the island’s biggest shopping centre, and which also offers a vast selection of restaurants and cafes.
